NOTE: Some of these details may change after we have completed our full survey of the roads.

March 28th to 22nd 2027.

THURSDAY NIGHT.

We’ll meet up at a local Hotel in ORANGE for Registration, as well as an Orientation Session for first time participants. Thursday night is always a good time to catch up with mates from last year and dream about what might happen this year. Orange is four hours from Sydney by car.

FRIDAY.

Friday morning is always a bit manic. After a great breakfast we will head out for four days of fun and friendship. We’ll have you on some dirt roads in the wink of an eye and we’ll keep you on dirt for most of the weekend. We’ll tackle some great forest and rural roads before we hit Goolagong and on to Grenfell for lunch.
After lunch we will skirt around Temora and pop out in West Wyalong for our overnight stop.

SATURDAY.

Heading out of West Wyalong this morning we will be driving through classic canola, wheat & sheep country on our way to “Condo” (Condobolin) to check out the “Utes in the Paddock”. Lunch will be at Trundle, where hopefully the CWA will spoil us again with one of their famous lunches. We’ll cruise a few more country roads while we head east towards “The Dish”. Who remembers the impromptu game of cricket we had there back in 2018? We will head back to Parkes for some more country hospitality and an overnight stop.

SUNDAY.

We’ll go from Canola to Cotton country this morning, as we skirt around the geographical centre of NSW. Lunch will be at Warren before we set our sights on Dubbo where we will have our Sunday Night Awards and Auction Dinner. This is the highlight of the event and gives us a chance to focus on why we are all involved in the rally, and what it means to us personally.

MONDAY.

Monday morning will see us heading east for a final taste of dirt road driving around the upper reaches of Burrendong Dam, before we arrive at Mudgee for lunch. It’s a comfortable four hours back to Sydney from here, so you’ll be back in your own bed at home on Monday Night.

NOTE: Some of these details may change after we have completed our full survey of the roads.

If you need additional information contact Peter by email here or phone 0414 284 489.

Eligibility There are 3 categories of eligible vehicles:-

• Any well prepared charity event or similar vehicle, is eligible to enter. If your charity car only gets used one week each year, or hasn’t been used for several years, this is a great opportunity to dust it off and get some more fun out of it. All vehicles must be registered and insured.
• Any modern 4WD vehicle (Landcruiser, Prado, Ranger, HiLux, Navara, Triton, etc.).
• Most AWD SUVs will also be suitable, but it will depend upon the actual roads that we will take on the event. Please check with Peter for individual cases. Subarus are very popular choices in this category.

If you don’t have a suitable vehicle but still want to participate, most of the big Car Rental firms have “Mine Spec” vehicles ready to go at economical rates.

Entry Fee: a $790 Non Refundable Entry Fee is payable to Charity Car Events Pty Ltd. Paid via Credit Card or Bank Transfer when you register.

Donation and/or Sponsorship: Remember, this is a fundraising event for Beyond Blue. Millions of Australians are living with anxiety or depression. Beyond Blue is working to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression and suicide in the community by raising awareness and understanding, empowering people to seek help, and supporting recovery, management and resilience.

The team minimum is $1,500 (if there are two people in the car). A car with three people will need to raise at least $2,000. Four (or more) people in a car will need to raise $2,500. Remember to get your friends and contacts to support your endeavours. All their donations will be credited as part of your personal target. Of course, you can raise as much money as you want to go towards such a great cause.

NB: It is a requirement that each car entry must setup a Fundraising page – all monies added to your page go directly to Beyond Blue and the amount added to your donation tally. All donations trigger a receipt sent directly to the donor.
If you have trouble setting up your page, please contact Trish here and she will help you.
